Terming Asiya’s arrest as “unjustified”, Geelani said that her husband, Dr Muhammad Qasim Faktoo is in jail for the past 30 years.
“In such circumstances, arrest of Asiya is highly condemnable. In his appeal to ICRC, Amnesty International and international organization for human rights, Geelani impressed to take their cognizance and use influence for immediate release of all detainees.
