Srinagar, April 25 (KNO) : A PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at Police Station Nowhatta. With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish mass contacts, Police station Nowhatta convened a public interaction meeting in which a number of respectable citizens of Nowhatta area and trade members of the area participated. The meeting was chaired by SDPO Khanyar Shri Raja Zuhaib.
The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like drug menace, nuisance of traffic jam, space for parking etc & some issues related to civil administration. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SDPO Khanyar assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. The participants were requesting to continue supporting police in its endeavour to fight social crimes and to maintain peace and calm in the area.
