Advocate Nazir Malik, National Conference leader has expressed deep dismay over the holistic neglect of Bandipora as a result people are facing immeasurable pain. He made it clear on ground zero the Bandipora constituency has been grossly ignored and thrown into dark corridors of uncertainty and backwardness.

Advocate Nazir Malik stated - “ The entire Bandipora constituency has been left out of each and every aspect of developmental paradigm. Public education and health sector are on ventilator with these key sectors in shambles. Crippling load shedding adding to the woes and miseries of the masses. Youth have been served nothing in garb of lofty promises and chronic unemployment is rampant in entire Bandipora.

“ He castigated the successive elected representatives for what he termed the unprecedented neglect of Bandipora constituency. Advocate Nazir Malik observed “ The present Member Legislative Assembly Bandipora and the former MLA , who is also senior leader of ruling party have done nothing to address the burning issues of Bandipora constituency and have just promoted nepotism and rot. As a result, the vested interest are ruling roost in the Bandipora . Corruption and inefficiency among the administration in Bandipora District have been hallmarks of their working . “ Advocate Nazir Malik remarked that in name of projects and development Bandipora has only been served betrayals .

He added - “ The Hindustan Construction Company had made lofty promises to masses of area but nearly a decade down the line it has only looted natural resources and serene environment of Bandipora and given nothing in return and ugliness has been compounded as the elected representatives allowed this to happen for petty vested gains.” He expressed displeasure that tourism which can be great goldmine for the district in terms of development and providing employment has been left unattended . “ Without doubt the Bandipora area is facing complete neglect but we are determined to change the realities towards betterment and seek active cooperation from the youth.”
