PCPG meeting held at Police Station Nigeen, PP Rangreth, Harwan & Litter | KNO

*Srinagar, April 27 (KNO) : A PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at Police Station Nigeen. With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish first hand contact with masses, Police station Nigeen convened a public interaction meeting in which a number of respectable citizens of Saidakadal area participated. The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Nigeen Shri Riyaz Ahmad Khan.

The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like drug menace, social crimes & some issues related to civil administration like repair of interior roads, repair of street lights, horror of increasing dogs, beautification & plantation of pavements from Ashai Bagh bridge towards Saida Kadal. SHO Nigeen stressed upon the importance to keep the pavements clean and shunning the habit of unnecessarily displaying the goods outside the shops.

The participants promised to contribute in keeping the area hassle free. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SHO Nigeen assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. He also sought the cooperation of participants in fighting drug abuse and social crimes in the area.

*Srinagar, April 27 (KNO) : In order to strengthen the relations with Public, a PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at Police Post Rangreth in which a number of respectable citizens, traders and transporters participated.

The meeting was chaired by SDPO Sadder Shri Fahad Tak accompanied by SHO Sadder Shri Raies Hassan and incharge PP Rangreth Shri Showkat Ahmad Khan. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like macadamization of roads, regularization of Public transport with special emphasis on availability of transport during the peak hours, cleaning of roads and markets by municipality, installation of street lights, Police verifications, etc.

Participants were assured that issues pertaining to police will be addressed in shortest possible time and the rest will be taken up with civil administration for their redressal. Police reiterated its commitment for people friendly approach and cooperation with the people in redressing their grievances.

*Srinagar, April 27 (KNO) : A PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at Police Station Harwan in which the representatives/ respectable citizens of all the 32 villages falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Harwan participated. The meeting was chaired by SP City East Srinagar Shri Dawood Ayub accompanied by SDPO Nehru Park Shri Sadhanshu Verma and SHO Police Station Harwan.

The aim of the meeting was to interact with the people of the area and aware them about the evil designs of anti-social elements. During the interaction participants put forth various demands of public importance and were assured that those pertaining to police shall be redressed on merits and other greviences pertaining to other departments shall be taken up with the concerned for their early redressal.

SP City East Srinagar and SDPO Nehru Park addressed the gathering and sought their cooperation in maintaining public order in day to day policing. Participants were made aware about the fact that some anti-social elements are hell-bent to disturb peace and order by spreading rumours. Participants assured full cooperation to police. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks.

The meeting was chaired by SDPO Litter Shri Ghulam Hassan. SHO Police Station Litter Shri Sajad Ahmad and DO Lassipora were also present on the occasion. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like drug menace and social degradation. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SDPO Litter Shri Ghulam Hassan assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time and rest will be taken up with the higher authorities for redressal.

They were also assured that the police will not leave any stone unturned to eradicate social evils from the society. The participants were urged to cooperate with the police in fighting social crimes and drug abuse in the area.
