Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has paid glowing tributes to the armed youth killed in a gunfight with government forces in Drubgam village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday. A JeM spokesperson said,

“The blood of martyrs will pay off. The locals picking up guns for their rights, is a clear writing on the wall for India that it has to leave Kashmir. The struggle will continue till the last Indian soldier leaves Kashmir.” Hailing the “pro-freedom sentiment” of the people of Kashmir, JeM spokesperson expressed condolence and solidarity with the families of the slain armed youth Sameer Ahmad and Aaqib Ahmad.

“Jaish is with Hizbul Mujahideen,” the spokesperson said, adding, “India cannot keep Kashmiris enslaved for long.”
