PCPG meeting held in Anantnag | KNO

Srinagar, May 01 (KNO) : A PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at Police Station Utrasoo in Anantnag.

With an aim to strengthen the relations with public and also to establish first hand contact with masses, Police Station Utrasoo convened a public interaction meeting in which a number of respectable citizens including presidents of Mohalla Committees, members of traders associations & other locals also participated. The meeting was chaired by SDPO Achabal Shri Tanveer Ahmad accompanied by SHO Police Station Utrasoo Shri Imtiyaz Ahmad. The participants highlighted various issues like drug menace, alcoholism, gambling as well as some issues pertaining to the Civil administration like non-availability of drinking water, electricity etc.

Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SDPO Achabal and SHO Utrasoo assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time and the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. The meeting concluding with a vote of thanks.
