Let us not take away our focus on doing everything possible to see to it that justice stands delivered in horrific Kathua incident.

If we recall it was chief minister who went public with her statement that she was appalled to see tricolour is being used as a cover up for the shameful incident. Handing over the case to a professional, competent team of police officials of crime branch, lodging FIR and putting up the case before judiciary are indicators that she is determined to do whatever it takes to take things to a logical conclusion.

Mehbooba Mufti government goes ahead, passes an ordinance which includes even capital punishment to accused in such heinous crimes. Now, no politics please over such a barbaric act committed by barbaric people. This was stated by Dr Mehboob Beg, a senior PDP leader in a press release. Mehboob Beg was commenting on a callous remark made by newly sworn in Deputy chief minister.
