Srinagar, May 02 (KNO) : Kupwara Police held a meeting with Public at Police Post Khurhama to strengthen the public relations in the area.
The meeting was chaired by DO Khurhama SI Mudasir Ahmad. Large number of respectable Citizens and traders of the area participated in the meeting and raised several issues pertaining to civil administration, drug addiction and other civic amenities. Speaking on the occasion, DO Khurhama said that the grievances will be taken up with the concerned authorities for immediate redressal and added that police will provide its legal support as and when required for the betterment of the society.
DO Khurhama reiterated that such meetings provide an opportunity to properly channelize the suggestion of people and seek their support for better policing. Further he said that he would be arranging such meets in future as well. He also thanked people for participating in the meeting and providing valuable suggestions.
