Handwara Police solves theft case, accused arrested, stolen items recovered | KNO

Srinagar, May 05 (KNO) : Handwara police today solved a theft case and recovered stolen property from the possession of accused.

Giving the details of the case, SSP Handwara Shri Ghulam Jeelani Wani said that SHO PS Villigam and his team made hard efforts to nab the accused and recover the stolen property. Police party led by SHO Villigam during the course of investigation raided at several places and detained several suspects including Mohammad Danish Zargar son of Manzoor Ahmad Zarger resident of Tikker Kupwara who was found to be involved in theft cases. On his disclosure stolen property was recovered from different shops where it had been concealed.

Items that were recovered includes mobile phones, mobile chargers, data cables, earphones, Bluetooth earphones, memory cards, currency coins, jeans pants, t shirts, trousers, shampoos, medicines. General population in Handwara has appreciated the swift action of police.
