PCPG meeting held at Police Station Khanyar, Srinagar | KNO

Srinagar, May 10 (KNO) : PCPG meeting was held at police station Khanyar on 9.5.2018. With an aim to strengthen relations with pubic & also to establish first hand contact with masses , Police station Khanyar convened a public interaction meeting in which large number of respectables of Kaw mohalla & Kolipora participated. The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Khanyar Shri Parvaiz Ahmad.

The main focus of the meeting was maintenance of peace & tranquility in the area. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like problem of drug menace, traffic jamming etc as well as some issues pertaining to the civil administration. Participants thanked the police for sincere efforts to curb social crimes from the area. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SHO Khanyar assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority.

He also asked them to keep cooperating with police as in the past, so the peaceful atmosphere in the area is maintained.
