Advisor Mattoo meets Governor | KNO

SRINAGAR, MAY 10 (KNO) : Prof. Amitabh Mattoo, Advisor to the Chief Minister, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan today. Prof. Mattoo briefed Governor about the initiatives which were underway for advancing the higher educational interests of J&K which included providing scholarships for bright students to study Public Policy for one year in some of the best Universities in USA, Singapore and Australia. Governor urged Prof.

Mattoo to focus on the crucial importance of well-planned initiative being implemented to nurture and advance the aspirations of youth and, side by side, safeguarding the functioning of educational institutions at all levels. He also pointed to the crucial importance of ensuring against the academic schedules of students being recurringly disrupted by unrest and disorder.
