JAMMU, May 10 (KNO) : Communist Party of India (ML) Liberation, J&K state Secretary Nirdosh Uppal has said that All Party Meeting (APM) conducted by PDP-BJP coalition government has failed to take on board all the stakeholders of Jammu and Kashmir for seeking to end vicious cycle of violence that is resulting in loss of human capital in the Kashmir valley.

Nirdosh Uppal has said, “The coalition also failed to impress upon its coalition partner BJP over gross Human Rights violations including killing of innocents and unarmed civilians in pellets and bullet firing incidents in Kashmir valley. It is unfortunate that PDP is sharing power with BJP which doesn’t believe in peaceful and negotiable resolution of serious issues in Jammu and Kashmir as well as across the country.” He added that the political stand of BJP on Kashmir is well known and believes that armed resistance has to be crushed with an iron hand irrespective to brutality carried out against the unarmed civilians. He further said that proposal to send to an All Party Delegation to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to apprise him about the suffering and pain of Jammu and Kashmir people is unlikely to have the desired impact.

After coming to power, BJP at centre has stopped short off using heavy war machinery against innocent civilians not only in J&K but also other parts of the country also. He added that it is the duty of Civil Society to intervene in a big way and to make the youth understand that armed resistance against the Indian state is a futile exercise and said that it is all because of armed resistance against mighty Indian state is leading to destruction of human capital, economy and natural resources. CPI (ML) further appealed to all Mainstream Parties, Separatist Camp and Civil Society to make youth understand and to find a viable political solution and also come out with an agenda of socio-economical with equitable distribution and human centric approach for bringing an end to unabated killing in Kashmir.
