Wreath laying ceremony held at DPL Budgam | KNO

Wreath laying ceremony for the martyr Sgct Shamim Ahmad No: 834 Bd (EXK 981992) was held in the premises of DPL Budgam today evening. DIG CKR Shri VK Birdi IPS led the Police officers and jawans in laying the floral wreaths on the mortal remains of the martyr.

Besides DC Budgam Mohd Haroon Malik KAS, SSP Budgam Shri Tejinder Singh IPS and ASP Budgam Shri Majid Malik including other officers from the police department and civil administration were present at the wreath laying ceremony.

Martyr SgCt Shamim Ahmad was a native of Check Hanjan Yaripora, District Kulgam and is survived by aged parents, wife, three children Shahid about 21 years old, Muneeb Ahmad about 17 years old and Saqib Ahmad about 10 years old.
