Kishtwar Police Files Chargsheet in Ishtaq Dar Blind Murder Case | KNO

Kishtwar  (KNO) : Kishtwar Police has produced Challan in the sensational Ishtaq Ahmed Dar blind murder case in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar today. The 534 page chargesheet was produced by the team of police headed by Additional SP Kishtwar Parbeet Singh amidst tight security cover.

The district police has taken up with the higher formations for appointment of special public prosecutor for assisting the trail of the case. On March 9, 2018 the Police Station Kishtwar received an information that some incident of fire has occurred near Jamia Masjid Kishtwar. The police parties rushed to the spot where the deceased Ishtaq Ahmad Dar was lying in the pool of blood. The Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary along with other senior Police officers reached on the scene of crime and examined the same minutely.

The police called a special team of FSL from Police Control Room Jammu. The Senior Superintendent of Police got the post-mortem of the dead body conducted through a board of doctors. The Senior Superintendent of Police subsequently constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by the Additional Superintendent of Police Kishtwar Parbeet Singh to investigate the blind murder case. The SIT worked round the clock under the close supervision of SSP Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary and finally cracked the highly sensational and technical blind murder case. Police during the course of investigation rounded up various suspects and finally arrested one Muzzaffer Hussain Kamal @ Nikka Kamal S/O Wali Mohd Kamal of Kamal Mohalla Kishtwar.

The police investigation team recovered the weapon of offence- a foreign made pistol on the disclosure of the accused in presence of the Additional District Magistrate Kishtwar & Tehsildar Kishtwar alongwith independent civil witnesses. The weapon of offence was received by the accused from one of his terrorist relative Aamir Kamal of banned HM organization at Pinjrari Dachhan in the year 2011. After completion of all the legal formalities, receiving various evidentiary reports from various experts, the SIT headed by ASP Parbeet Singh today finally produced the 534 page chargesheet in the court of Chief Judicial Kishtwar.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) worked under the close supervision of SSP Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary. Beside the ASP Kishtwar as its Chairman, the SIT comprised Nissar Ahmed Khoja DySP Operation Kishtwar, Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh Senior Prosecuting officer Kishtwar, SHO Police Station Kishtwar Inspector Sameer Jellani, SHO Police station Chatroo Inspector Mohd Bashir assisted by the clerical staff. The district Police Kishtwar keeping in view the sensational nature and therefore the public importance of the case has requested the government for appointing a Special Public Prosecutor for the case to bring it to logical withins a stipulated time period.
