State General Secretry of Pradesh Congress Committee and MLA Bandipora Usman Majid here on today strongly condemned excessive use of force and brutal cane charge on Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers at Pratap Park Srinagar. MLA Bandipora Strongly condemn the attitude of the JK Govt & the police who lathicharged on the SSA teachers who were projecting their long pending demands in democratic manner.
He said that With such genuine & justified demands, the SSA teachers were laid by cops & beaten up mercilessly. He said that, It is shame on the part of Government that instead of paying them pending wages, the Government using force on them.
Describing teachers as builders of the nation, Usman lauded the crucial role of the SSA teachers. Usman has demanded immediate release of the SSA Teachers who were detained at Pratap Park Srinagar and treatment to those who were injured.
