Star footballers Mehraj ud Din Wadoo, Sajid Dar visit GVEI, interact with students | KNO

Srinagar (KNO) : Valley’s star footballers of international repute Mehraj ud Din Wadoo and Sajid Yusuf Dar Thursday visited Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI), one of the leading schools in Kashmir, and interacted with students.

Wadoo and Dar promised to start a football club at the school campus for school children who are enthusiastic to learn the game and excel in it, the school management said. During the interaction, the duo offered tips to the students to gear up for future football competitions. The duo interacted with both boys’ and girls’ football team at the GVEI and motivated them to put their efforts to excel in the game.

The duo also assessed the progress of football ground at the campus and offered valuable tips to the administration, the management said. Chairman GVEI Muhammad Yusuf Wani appreciated the cooperation of the duo and expressed heartfelt thanks to them, GVEI said. The duo were presented with mementos by the administration for sharing their expertise with them.
