Doctors Association Kashmir(DAK) in its social outreach programme visited Athrout Dialysis Centre at Nawakadal, Srinagar on Friday evening.
Dr Suhail Naik,President DAK was accompanied by Dr Masood ul Hassan, Dialysis Physician and Media & Publicity Secretary DAK,Dr Masood Rashid & Dr Zahid Nasti, Senior Executive Members, DAK. Dr Naik said that "This dialysis centre will be run on no profit no loss basis by "Athrout Trust", especially for poor patients suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease(CKD) who could not afford dialysis due to financial constraints and we are hopeful and in it we see a ray of hope for them".
Dr Masood ul Hassan further added that "we are impressed by seeing this centre for the poor patients in which minute technical details have been taken care of and we hope it will definitely be a source of relief for CKD patients who are financially not well and we further hope that quality care will be maintained" DAK thanked Mr Bashir Nadvi Chairman Athrout and Mr Hamid,Entrepenuer and social worker for inviting us there.DAK will provide them all the expert advice and opinion needed for this initiative and will regularly hold Free Medical Camps with them in future.
