Govt pre-pones vacations for summer zone schools | KNO

JAMMU, MAY 26 (KNO) : The Government today pre-poned the vacations for summer zone schools of Jammu division from June 4, 2018 to May 28, 2018.

“In partial modification to Government Order No.703-Edu of 2018, dated 25.05.2018, the Government ordered that all the Government Educational Institutions and also recognized private Schools up to Higher Secondary level functioning in the summer Zone areas of Jammu Division shall now observe summer vacations w.e.f. 28th May, 2018 to 15th July, 2018 instead of 4th June, 2018 to 23rd of July, 2018” an order issued by directorate of school Education stated.

It further stated that ‘any default on the part of Private Schools(s) in observance of the calendar of the summer vacations so authorized shall attract action under rules.’
