4 months on, SSA teachers without Salary ‘Our kids want to buy new clothes, we have no money’ | KNO

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) teachers are roads to demand their pending salaries since past four months stating that government is ignoring them even as the Eid-ul-Fitr is fast approaching.

Camping in Pratap Park since last many weeks, the SSA teachers staged a peaceful protest pressing for their demands. “The month of May too has ended and government is not even moving an inch. We are suffering and our families including our children are suffering badly,” said a protesting teacher.

She urged Government to note of their genuine demands and to release their salary before Eid. “We too want to celebrate Eid. Our kids want to wear new clothes. Our pockets are empty. Government is in a slumber,” a group of protesting teachers said.
