Plantation drive carried out at DPL Kargil | KNO

Srinagar, June 05 (KNO) : In order to celebrate World Environment Day, a plantation drive was carried out by Hon'ble Chairman, Legislative Council, J&K Haji Anayat Ali in presence of Hon'ble Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC Kargil Shri Kacho Ahmed Ali Khan, Dy. Commissioner Kargil Shri Vikas Kundal and Sr. Superintendent of Police Kargil Sh. T. Gyalpo at District Police Lines Kargil. The plantation drive at DPL Kargil has been a part of mega plantation drive organized by District Administration Kargil and Forest Department Kargil.

Hon'ble Chairman Legislative Council J&K, Haji Anayat Ali impressed upon the officers and jawans to protect the eco-system by promoting plantations and preserving the nature. He also praised District Police Kargil headed by SSP Kargil Sh. T. Gyalpo in carrying out various social friendly events. Hon'ble CEC LAHDC Kargil Shri Kacho Ahmed Ali Khan also lauded the role of District Police Kargil for its public friendly policing and also expressed his views about the importance of plants and trees in maintaining a better eco-system. SSP Kargil Sh. T. Gyalpo thanked the dignitaries for encouraging District Police Kargil at each and every occasion and assured that no stone will be left unturned to serve the general public of Kargil.

Divisional Forest Officer Kargil, Sh. Mohd Ali, Additional Superintendent of Police Sh. Arun Gupta-KPS, Additional Dy. Commissioner Kargil Sh. Imtiyaz Kacho-KAS besides other civil and police officers were also present on the occasion. Later, the Hon'ble Chairman Legislative Council J&K also interacted with the Officers and jawans at District Police Lines Kargil.
