Tassaduq Mufti visited Mandi, Loran areas of Poonch | KNO

POONCH, JUNE 05 (KNO) : On the Third day of tour, the Minister for Tourism, Tassaduq Hussain Mufti today visited Mandi and Loran areas of the district to take stock of developmental process and interacted with people to hear grievances. MLA Shah Mohammd Tantary, District Development Commissioner Poonch Mohammad Aijaz, Executive Engineers of PHE, PWD, R&B and various other officers of the district administration accompanied the Minister. The Minister who is on 4-day tour to the district visited various places including Government Girls Higher Secondary School Mandi, Kalani Bridge, Mandi Hospital, Loran and Nandi Chool Water Fall.

While visiting the Hospital the Minister inspected various sections of the hospital and interacted with the patients to enquire about the quality of health care facilities being provided in the hospital Take a serious note on, Hospital waste management, the Minister inspected the waste collection and waster segregation process of the hospital and asked the concerned for submitting a report regarding the waste segregation and management of the hospital, besides conducting a proper research and survey regarding to tackle the sanitation issues. He also directed the concerned officers for setting a deadline to complete renovation works of the hospital to avoid inconvenience faced by the patients.

While visiting the schools the Minister interacted with students as well as with teachers and stressed for streamline the system by improving the quality of education across the district, besides initiation cultural activities, the Minister stressed for conduction regular art and literature related programs in schools. The Minister met various delegations during the tour and interacted with the locals and tourism stakeholders of the area. He gave patient hearing to the grievances and issues raised by them.
