Eid-ul-Fitr arrangements finalized at Bhaderwah | KNO

BHADERWAH, JUNE 11 (KNO) : Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar today held a meeting to finalize arrangements with regard to celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr. During the meeting, security and other arrangements like availability of essential commodities on approved rates and sanitation of Bhaderwah town was discussed in detail. The stress was also laid on ensuring uninterrupted supply of power and water on the day of Eid.

Tehsildar, officers of Municipal Committee and Animal Husbandry were asked to conduct regular market inspection to ensure availability of quality food material on approved rates in the market. The ADC further asked the concerned to deploy adequate number of personnel at jam prone places. It was strictly instructed that no vehicle should be allowed to ply through main markets and within the Municipal limits during these three days upto Eid-ul-Fitr. He further asked Police department to ensure adequate security arrangements in the town Municipal Committee was instructed to maintain proper sanitation of town during the festival.

The meeting was attended by ASP, TSO, and concerned officers from other departments, representatives of Beopar Mandal, various associations, matador/sumo union and religions organizations. No: PR/DI/18/1984/
