Srinagar: 14 June,2018 (KNO) : To pay homage to the police martyrs of terror attack which happenned at Press enclave Srinagar today, a wreath laying ceremony was held at DPL Srinagar today evening for martyrs Sg Constable Ab Hamid(No 3400/S EXK-002237) S/O Raj Mohd R/o Drigla Tanghdar District Kupwara & Constable Mumtaz Ahmad (No 3385/S EXK-002236) s/o Rehmat Ali R/o Khanpora Karnah District Kupwara who attained martyrdom today.
Civil and police officers led by DIG CKR laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains of the martyrs and paid rich tributes to the martyrs who made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Besides DIG CKR Shri V K Birdi-IPS, other senior officers of Police including SSP Srinagar Shri Imtiaz Ismail Parray-IPS,SSP PCR Srinagar Shri Shahid Mehraj were present at the ceremony and paid floral tributes to the martyrs.
