Shiv Sena Punjab Delegation meets Governor | KNO

SRINAGAR, JUNE 19 (KNO) : A 7 member delegation of Shiv Sena Punjab led by its National President Sh. Sanjiv Ghanoli met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan today. Sh. UmangNarula, Chief Executive Officer Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board and Sh. Bhupinder Kumar, Additional CEO, SASB participated in the meeting.

The delegation requested Governor to facilitate Shri Amarnathji pilgrims and provide toll free entry into J&K of the buses carrying Yatris; provide drinking water facilities at the halting points en route the Base Camps; cooperation and facilitation to be provided by the State Police while travelling on the National Highway towards the Base Camps. The delegation also demanded full protection for the safety and security of the Yatris.

Governor assured the delegation that all the issues raised by them will be addressed and advised them to create wide-spread awareness about the Advisory issued by the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board regarding Dos and Don’ts to be observed by the pilgrims.
