Srinagar 22nd June 2018 (KNO) : Jammu Kashmir is a police state where killing innocent humans is normal. This was stated by the chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik while condemning the brutal killings of many more Kashmiris at Srigufwara Islamabad today. Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) today staged a protest against the killing of a civilian and injuries to dozens others in Srigufwara area of south Kashmir's Islamabad district earlier today.

This protest was held near Budshah Lal Chowk and besides JKLF activists’ people from many walks of life participated in this peaceful protest. JKLF leaders and activists today assembled in Maisuma (Lal Chowk) soon after congregational Friday prayers and staged a protest to denounce the Killings of many more Kashmiris including innocent Muhammad Yousuf Rather and injuring of his wife and dozens others. Scores of JKLF leaders, activists and people from different walks of life today gathered near Budshah Chowk today and staged a peaceful protest against Srigufwara Killings.

Terming these killings as glaring act of state sponsored terrorism; JKLF leaders said that such gruesome killings can never deter Kashmiris from pursuing the path of resistance against Indian aggression.

It is pertinent to mention that today’s protest was organized on Joint resistance leadership (JRL) call and similar protests were held at many other places too. Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik while terming this ongoing spree of Killings as well-strategized policy of Indian state, said that Jammu Kashmir is a police state where killing humans is a normal affair and no matter who runs the state affairs, he or she is deployed only to Kill, maim and target Kashmiris.

He said that recently a drama has been state managed and governors’ rule implemented in Kashmir. This is also a well-devised plan to increase in killings, inflict more and more harm and injury to Kashmiris and intimidate them, added JKLF chairman. He said that crackdowns have become a daily routine and during these military operations, beating common people without the discrimination of age and gender, arresting, torturing and humiliating innocents, vandalizing and destroying properties, blasting and burning down residential houses and private vehicles has increased to an alarming proportion.

JKLF chairman said that on one hand this oppression and state sponsored terrorism against common people is going on and on the other hand Indian media especially TV channels have been deployed as propaganda machine to justify this state sponsored terrorism. He said that Indian TV channels and anchors are working as foot soldiers in civvies for Indian Army, forces, SOG, police and agencies and are deployed for promoting Killings and other oppressive measures. JKLF chairman said that today one more civilian has been killed by trigger happy Indians and more than two dozen stand injured including a women. Besides this, many more Kashmiri youth have been martyred which include Martyr Davood Salafi, Martyr Majid Manzoor, Martyr Muhammad Ashraf Itoo, and Martyr Adil Hassan and also many residential houses too have been damaged. This is naked fascism and terrorism which is going on in Kashmir under the garb of so-called biggest democracy, added JKLF chairman.

Meanwhile Chairman JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik has paid rich tributes to martyr Ajaz Ahmad Bazaz (Yasir) of Basant Bagh who was martyred in custody by SOG in year 2000.
