Geelani expressed deep grief over civilian killings in Srigufwara | KNO

Srinagar, June 22, 2018 (KNO) : Hurriyat Conference chairman Syed Ali Geelani expressed his deep grief over civilian killings in Srigufwara Islamabad shootout and extended his condolences with bereaved family of slain civilian Mohammad Yusuf Rather .

He paid his tributes to slain brave hearts and blamed stubborn attitude of Indian authorities for continuous bloodshed & said that since last several decades, people in state are facing war like situation. People are facing the extreme situtaions, said Geelani and added that people are braving the bullets, pelts and atrocities at the hands of arrogant forces.

India is pushing youth to wall and compelling them to take extreme steps, Geelani said and hailing resilience and steadfastness of people in occupied state, added that Indian authorities rely on their military might to suppress people’s aspirations and muzzle voices. Justifying the resentment from youth, Geelani said that our youth are taking arms to put an end to slavery and this barbarity.
