Army detains a person wearing T-shirt resembling army uniform | KNO

Army on Saturday detained a person from central Kashmir’s Budgam district, in Surankote area of Poonch district, after feeling suspicious about him for wearing a T-shirt resembling army uniform. Official sources told GNS that on Saturday at about 11:20 am, a person namely Ajaz Ahmed Wani son of Jamal Ahmed Wani of Darwanh, Chararshrif, Budgam, was travelling in a video coach bus bearing number JK-12-3850 towards Surankote to Jammu.

On reaching Jaran Wali Gali, Surankote, army's search party during frisking asked the youth to show identity and questioned him for wearing T-Shirt resembling with the army uniform, they said. Sources said when Aijaz revealed that he is from Kashmir, he was taken into custody. When contacted, Station House Officer (SHO) Surankote Mohammad Anzar Mir confirmed about the incident.

“The concerned army told us that he was in suspicious conditions and as such was apprehended for questioning,” he said adding that the person is in army custody. “We are in touch with the concerned army with regard to the incident,” the officer said.
