June 29 (KNO) : Militants in the morning hours today attacked an army patrol near Good Will Public School in Ahagam area of Keegam village in District Shopian.
Militants lobbed a grenade on a group of army personnel when they were busy opening the Good will public School today morning followed by the firing on army personnel. In this incident three army personnel sustained injuries who were subsequently evacuated to the hospital for the medical attention.
Army personnel exercised maximum restrain to avoid any damage to civil population and students around. Police has registered case in this regard and searches to nab the terrorists have been initiated in the area.
