Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwiaz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik today threatened to launch people's agitation if government forces dont stop the innocent killings.

The JRL led by JKLF chief Muhammad Yasin Malik also staged a protest at Nowhata against the killing of teenage student Faizan Ahmed Poswal who was killed in forces firing at Pulwama on Friday. While Syed Ali Geelani continues to remain under house arrest and couldn't attend Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also wasn't able to reach the venue due to bad health. Addressing the gathering , Malik said Faizan was shot dead and was declared brought dead by his father who is a doctor. "

This is the situation in Kashmir. South Kashmir has been turned into a military garrison where searches, killings are routine, " said Malik. He said if innocent killings doesn't stop JRL will be bound to announce people's agitation.
