Police public meeting held in Anantnag | KNO

July 06 (KNO) : In its endeavor to strengthen police public relations, Jammu and Kashmir Police organized a police public meeting which was held at Police Station Larnoo of district Anantnag.

The meeting was chaired by SHO Larnoo Shri Jazib Mohammad in which large number of respectable citizens and traders of the area participated. Many issues including drug addiction were highlighted during the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, SHO Larnoo said that such meetings are conducted to solicit the suggestions and support for better policing and would be conducted in the future as well. He further added that police is to serve the public and will provide all support to its citizens as and when required for the betterment of the society.

Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants the chairing officer said that these issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities for immediate redressal. He also thanked the people for participating in the meeting and has requested for their cooperation.
