UJC condemns arrest of Asiya and aides by NIA | KNO

Conglomerate of militant outfits United Jihad Council Friday while condemning the arrest of Asiya Andrabi and her aides by NIA said trio had been implicated in false cases. The conglomerate asked international organizations to take note of such atrocities.

As per a statement to news agency CNS, Syed Salahuddin, the UJC Chief said that India used such tactics in past as well and everyone knows this time too these tactics will fail. “BJP is playing NIA card to reap benefits in coming 2019 elections. Though this will help them for time being but overall it will prove disastrous for whole region and polity,” he said. Salahuddin appealed both world and Indian Human Rights Organizations to take note of the atrocities being committed upon the Kashmiri political prisoners in Tihar Jail. He said lodging ailing Asiya Andrabi into jail will put her lift at risk.

“Asiya Andrabi is already suffering from multiple ailments. The jail environ will deteriorate her health again,” Salahuddin said. He advised India to act responsibly and stop harassing people of Kashmir. “India should accept ground reality and understand that these tactics are not going to help her in any way.”
