Srinagar 10 July (KNO) : Six AIP workers including party District president Kulgam Dr. Bari Nayak and District President Shopian Haji Yousuf were released from Sub-Jail Anantnag today, after they were arrested while protesting against unabated killings in south Kashmir.

Party President Er. Rasheed while welcoming their release reiterated that south Kashmir is virtually under martial law and whosoever dares to speak truth has to pay the price. He said “All harsh and inhuman policies including that of killing, blinding and jailing Kashmiris are bound to fail as truth and facts are on the sides of Kashmiris. New Delhi must understand that neither change of guards nor cosmetic measures can help in resolving Kashmir dispute which is lying unresolved since 1947 and has consumed more than five Lac. lives”.

Er. Rasheed added that while the people of entire state have offered huge sacrifices for resolution of Kashmir dispute but south Kashmir has suffered worst on account of state terrorism and Jungle Raj during last three years. He said “Neither pro-resistance leadership nor anyone else who sincerely want to reach out to the masses are not being allowed to do so.

Unless New Delhi doesn’t give up the arrogance and agree to certain basic facts nothing will change. Seeking release of all innocents lodged in various police stations and jails Er. Rasheed reiterated that these detunes are not criminals and destroying their self respect and rights is unacceptable.
