One drug peddler held with 3 Kg poppy straw in Bhaderwah | KNO

BHADERWAH, JULY 11 (KNO) : Continuing its relentless efforts against the menace of Drugs ,Bhaderwah Police during routine naka checking at Domail Bhaderwah, Police party of Police Station Bhaderwah led by SI Zaheer Iqbal under the supervision of SHO P/S Bhaderwah Inspr.

Muneer Hussain and SDPO Bhaderwah Tussif Ahmed , on the directions of ASP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohdammad Shabir apprehended one person namely Waseem Akram S/O Mohd Saleem R/O Chabutra Chowk Udhampur and recovered 03 Kg Bhuki. On this, case FIR No. 109 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act registered at Police Bhaderwah and investigation has been taken up.It is pertinent to mention that Doda Police under the command of SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir KPS launched a special drive against the menace of Drug abuse and sale of illicit liquor in District Doda.

Moreover, District Police Doda also launched a general awareness programme against the menace of drug abuse in District Doda by way of organizing lectures in the Schools, Colleges of District Doda and also through social media like Facebook and Whatsapp.
