Kupwarah, 16 July (KNO) : Coming down heavily on UP Shia Wakf Board for appealing Supreme Court of India to impose Ban on Green Flags with Crescent and star, AIP President Er Rasheed has asked Shia Community, all over India, to wake up,identify the black sheep and stop them from exploiting the whole community. While interacting with people of various sections at Kupwarah today Er Rasheed said, “It is unfortunate and horrible that the Shia Wakf Board first asked the Muslims to voluntarily give up the Babri Masjid Land for Construction of Ram Temple and is now dragging the traditional Islamic Flag to the Supreme Court, thus creating confusions and misperceptions about the Indian Muslims.

It seems that Shia Wakf Board is trying to prove its loyalty to fringe elements in India and want to confess that Muslims are like second class citizens in the country. This is a proved fact that a true Muslim can neither be communal nor can show hatred against any other religion so they don’t need to bow down to further prove anything about being tolerant”.

Er Rasheed added “Though the Muslims are proved tolerant and peace loving but that doesn’t mean that they should be apologetic, without being at fault, or should give up their claim over disputed land in Ayodhya. These self styled religious clerics of Shia Community have not only hurt the sentiments of entire Ummah but are also defaming the religion itself by giving a notion of feeling guilty conscious despite the fact that Muslims in entire India are constantly under threats, of various sorts , from right wing Hindu forces”.

Awami Eithad Party Supreamo further said “rather asking BJP and other organizations of Sang Parivar to apologies for bulldozing historic Babri Masjid, theses proxicies of RSS are asking their own community to give up their genuine claim.” Er Rasheed added that it is laughable that UP Shai Wakf Board has shamefully dragged the traditional green flag to Supreme Court and sought ban on its hoisting in entire India.

He said “What can be more unfortunate and ridiculous that Shia Wakf Board has approached Supreme Court to ban green Flag with Crescent and star giving the logic that the flag resembles Pakistani national Flag. May these clerics explain if green flag with a crescent and star resembles Pakistani flag and should be banned, why Indian national congress shouldn’t be asked to change its flag as it resembles the national flag of India? It seems that these Shia clerics are not only suffering from PakistanoPhobia but they have been hired by RSS, to say whatsoever RSS wants to dictate Muslims, to save itself and other Hindu fundamentalists from the allegations and responsibility”.

Er Rasheed appealed Shia community to understand the designs behind such conspiracies and asked them to get united and fight for the religious, social and other rights of entire Muslim Ummah, without getting indulged in sectarian debates.
