SRINAGAR, JULY 18 (KNO) : Various delegations today called upon the Advisor to the Governor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, to apprise him of their issues. The Civil Contractors Association delegation requested the Advisor for issuing instructions to the concerned department to release their pending payments worth of Rs 30 crore under SDRF for works done during 2014 floods.

They further informed that the bills worth of Rs 350 crore for macadamization and civil works done during the year 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2017-18 are still pending. The delegation also requested that there should be availability of funds in every NIT before execution of work.
