State General of Pradesh Congress Committee and MLA Bandipora Usman Majid here on today Urged Party Cadres to remain united to defeat the anti-people and wrong policies of the Previous dispensation responsible for the current fiasco in the Kashmir Valley.
Majid described the Previous PDP-BJP dispensation as anti-poor and anti development, saying due to administrative inertia and lack of political direction the sufferings of the people have increased manifold during over past three years. Addressing well attended party worker's meeting organized by block Congress committee Bunkoot Bandipora, MLA Usman Majid took a dig on three year’s PDP-BJP coalition government saying that “both are fully committed to power but have failed to feel the pulse of people who are totally fed up with their opportunistic politics”.
Majid said that Congress is emerging as a strong alternative in all three regions of the state “especially when the Previous coalition has utterly failed and stands exposed on all fronts after the end of their power politics in the state. While taking dig on PDP, he said that this is the same party who sought votes to keep BJP out of power and then went on to create false moral smokescreens to sell the 2014 mandate to the BJP. He said that Congress party is voice of common men and we are whole heartedly welcoming all to the party fold. Majid asserted that it is the Congress Party alone which is representing the aspirations of the people fully and will continue to work for the equitable development of all the three regions of the J&K state.
On the occasion, People of Bunkoot and its adjoing areas apprised Usman Majid about their sufferings and day to day problems by them. Majid while Interacting with the people of areas said that the Previous PDP BJP dispensation utterly failured in all fronts of developmental activities, giving justice to common men, in generating employment opportunities. Expressing faith in the programmes and policies of Usman Majid, Workers from Bunkoot Block of Bandipora Constituency pledged to strengthen the Party in Bandipora. The main of the Meeting was to strength party at grass root level, Party Leaders said.
