'Article 35 A' : Deferment or hearing, 'All eyes on supreme court' | KNO

The standing counsel in the supreme court Shoaib Alam will plead before the apex court and seek the adjournment of petition filed by the Delhi based NGO we the citizens.

The development comes at a time when separatists groups and entire Kashmir Inc. has upped their ante against the petition seeking scrapping of article 35 A amid claims that they will spill their blood to protect JKs citizenship rights. Sources said that JKs standing counsel Shoiab Alam will plead before the supreme court to adjourn the petition on article 35 a.

What remains to be seen is whether the supreme court will defer the portion or hear it. Separatists have decided to launch an agitation if any court verdict comes against people of Kashmir.
