Srinagar, 07 th August 2018 (KNO) : Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVIC) North Zone Head Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat today called on Kenneth I. Juster, Ambassador of United States of America to India who is on tour to Kashmir. During the meeting, Dr. Hina and US Ambassador discussed matters relating to security situation.
Dr. Hina briefed US Ambassador about the ground situation of the State especially Kashmir Valley. She Stressed about engagement of youth in various activities in the field of sports, culture etc.
Hina also informed that KVIC is the Nodal Agency of flagship scheme of Government of India namely Prime Ministers Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) all over the Country and through this scheme KVIC is providing entrepreneurship to thousands of unemployed youth the State of Jammu & Kashmir. Dr. Hina wished the Ambassador a useful stay at Srinagar.
