Srinagar 29 Auguest (KNO) : A top militant commander of Hizbul Mujahideen Altaf Kachroo is believed to have been killed in an ongoing encounter with forces in Anantnag district. An official told (KNO) one of the slain militants in the ongoing gunfight has been identified as Altaf Kachroo who was active since past over a decade. " The encounter is on," the official said.
