Mega Dangal event organized in Bhaderwah | KNO

BHADERWAH,SEPT 12 (KNO) : Continuing their oldest tradition of organizing Dangal since 1952, Dangal Committee Khalu Bhaderwah organized Dangal at Khalu Bhaderwah area , here today .

Provincial Secretary NC Sheikh Mohd Shafi was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed cash prizes among the winners and runners-up wrestlers, while Dangal Committee members Krishan Kumar ,Raina , Farooq Ahmed Sheikh , Manjeet Singh , Raj Kumar where also present on the occasion .

Around 100 bouts were held in the event and winners were awarded with cash prizes, with Rs 12,000 for the winner and Rs 7000 for the runners-up wrestler.

Salam Udhampur defeated Ndeem Bhalessi in big Championship Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest Sheikh Mohd Shafi threw light on the benefits of games and sports in every sphere of life.He said Bhaderwah possesses ample talent, but the need is to hunt and explore it at the bud.
