7th pay commission in favour of SSA teachers approved | KNO

Srinagar Sept 26 (KNO) : After pressurizing the state administration by observing indefinite hunger strike, the Governor led administration on Wednesday approved the implementation of 7th pay commission in favour of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan (SSA) teachers.

The SSA teachers were on indefinite hunger strike from last several weeks to press the state administration over the demands. Sources said that in a meeting chaired by Governor Satya Pal Malik, the administration approved to implement 7th pay commission in favour of SSA teachers.

They said that like others employees, the SSA teachers will get the effect from April 2018. Sources said that the SSA teachers will get the salary as per 7th pay commission from this month.(KNO)
