Srinagar Sept 27 (KNO) : A 24 year old civilian Muhammad saleem Malik was killed early morning allegedly in forces firing after forces cordoned the Bagwanpora area of Safa kadal in downtown Srinagar. A police officer told (KNO) that there were inputs of militants in the house of Muhammad Yaaqoob Malik and when forces zeroed in on the house, militants opened fire and in the cross firing, Saleem was killed. " we are ascertaining the details," he said. Meanwhile authorities imposed curfew in downtown and closed all schools there.(KNO)
