Srinagar, October 10 (KNO) : State General Secretary of Pradesh Congress Committee and MLA Bandipora, Usman Majid on Wednesday strongly condemned the ‘brutal murder’ of health employee in Ahamsharief area of North Kashmir. Majid described the incident as ‘highly condemnable and shocking’, demanding stern action against the culprits involved in this heinous crime. In a statement issued to (KNO), Majid also urged DC Bandipora to set up fast track inquiry and stern punishment should be given to all the culprits. He said that “this incident is a crime against humanity and the culprits should be punished. I can’t imagine the horror and pain that this lady went through.” “It is unfortunate and shameful act which needs to be condemned at every level; it is a blot on the face of humanity. All the sections of the society should raise their voice against such inhuman & shameful incidents at every level,” he added. MLA Bandipora said that the perpetrators of this heinous crime must be identified immediately for stern punishment. Expressing deep sorrow grief and shock over the brutal murder of Health Employee, MLA said that it has shaken the heart of all the people. He said that “my heart goes out for the bereaved family.” Meanwhile, DC Bandipora Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary as per the statement has assured MLA Bandipora Usman Majid that justice will be delivered to the bereaved family, saying that SIT has been constituted in this regard.
