Srinagar, October 25 (KNO) : The health condition of Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik who is in police custody, has deteriorated considerably and from yesterday evening he was feeling harsh pain in stomach, JKLF spokesman said on Thursday. “Police took him to Doctor Khuroo’s clinic and after investigation he was diagnosed with severe intestinal infection. He has been put on high antibiotics by Doctor and advised to take soft meals and complete rest,” Spokesman said in a statement issued to KNO. “After doctors’ advice, he has been again shifted to police station Maisuma,” he said. A JKLF spokesman while expressing serious concern over the failing health of JKLF chairman has said that incarcerating Malik and putting him behind the bars has become a daily routine and especially from last four years he has spent most of his life in police stations and jails and this has taken a heavy toll on his health and wellbeing. “Indian rulers and their parties in Kashmir are talking of high morals and democracy but when it comes to practicing democracy and allowing political dissent, they become like Hitler’s and Mussolini and kill, maim, jail everyone who tries to raise his or her voice,” he said. JKLF appealed Kashmiris to pray for Yasin and other inmates.JKLF has strongly condemned the shifting of youth namely Juwaiz Ahmad Khan, Iqbal Ahmad and Faisal Ahmad who are under trail in DSP killing case to Hiranagar jail and termed this as ‘most condemnable act of oppressors’.“These young boys who have been framed in a concocted case where lodged at Pulwama sub-jail and have been shifted to Hira-Nagar jail without informing their families,” JKLF said. Meanwhile, a high level JKLF delegation comprising of JKLF vice chairman Advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, district president Islamabad Muhammad Ishaaq Ganie and others today visited Sangam and Srigufwara and met with the bereaved families of Doctor Sabzar Ahmad and Asif Ahmad Gojri and expressed solidarity with them. While paying tributes to slain militants, JKLF delegation said that “Indian rulers and forces are choking every little space on peaceful political resistance and forcing these young educated youth to choose the way of ultimate sacrifice.” “A nation whose sons are being massacred by tyrants cannot strengthen the blood soaked hands of killers and murderers in any way and that the nation of Jammu Kashmir will always remember these sacrifices and continue its struggle for freedom till the sacred goal is achieved,” he said.(KNO)
