Clashes in Khudwani, Five suffer pellet injuries | KNO

Khudwani, November 06 (KNO) : Five people were injured after forces resorted to pellet firing on protesters in Khudwani area of Kulgam district in South Kashmir here on today.Reports said that five persons have suffered grievous injuries after Govt forces use Pellet Guns to disperse Protesters after clashes Erupted in Khudwani area. Both have been referred to Srinagar hospital for treatment. Sources told KNO that there was urs in Khudwani area and there was huge gathering of people around Shrine and suddenly CRPF Vehicle passed there and youth started pelting stones on them resulted intense clashes in the area, Forces in reply tossed dozens of tear smoke shells and restored pellet firing to quell the Protesters. CMO Kulgam Fazil Kochak told KNO that Four to five youths were injured in clashes at Khudwani Kulgam in which 2 youths suffered grievous.Injuries who were shifted to Janglatmandi Mandi hospital for advance treatment. SSP Harmeet singh also confirmed about the incident(KNO)
