Kashmir Sikh community protest in Srinagar, demand abrogation of SRO-425 | KNO

Srinagar, November 12 (KNO) : Kashmiri Sikh community on Monday staged a protest against what they termed as discrimination with their community. Dozens of Sikhs under the banner of Kashmiri Sikh community gathered at Partap Park to express their resentment against what they termed as unconstitutional SRO-425 giving favours on religious line to a particular community by ignoring genuine minorities of Valley. According to the KNO correspondent, they said that the government is ignoring their community as it continued to show ignorant attitude towards them. The sit-in protest was organized by President Santpal Singh GPC Budgam and Inderjeet Singh and same fraternity under the banner of Kashmiri Sikh community has challenged SRO 425 scam in high court last year. On the occasion, various Sikh personalities and Sikh sangat participated. The protesting Sikhs here demanded immediate abrogation of SRO-425.(KNO)
