Srinagar youth missing since Sept 27, family stages protest | KNO

Srinagar, November 20 (KNO) : Missing Srinagar youth’s family on Tuesday protested in Press Enclave at City Center Lal Chowk and urged authorities to trace his whereabouts.Reports reaching to KNO that Ubaid Ahmad Dar went missing on September 27, his family members present at the protest said.Ubaid's father, Altaf Ahamd Dar alleged that his ‘friends have killed him while as the police was shielding the killers so far.’ He said that those involved in the killing of their beloved son should be arrested and stringent action must be taken against them. The family demanded independent probe into the incident, appealing the higher ups to look into the matter and deliver justice to the family. The protesters later dispersed peacefully.(KNO)
