Gurpurab celebrated with religious fervor in Kashmir

Pulwama, November 23 (KNO) : Gurpurab was Friday celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious fervor across the Kashmir valley by the members of Sikh community. Many functions were organised by the District wise Gurdwara Parbandhak Committees (DGPCs) in all the places of Kashmir particularly in Anantnag, Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramulla districts. According to KNO correspondent, in this connection, all the Gurdwaras of valley are decorated, having full of Sikh devotees, amid Kirtan and Akhandpat from "last three days, which will continue till tonight" Similarly, large number of devotees thronged the Gurdwaras since morning and paid their obeisance in many areas of Tral including Chatrogam, Kangloora, Hafoo, Saimoh, Arigam, Begund, Gadpora, Gamraz and other areas. They also participated in Kirtan and Akhnadpat in their Gurdwaras for all the three days.(KNO)
