Srinagar, November 24 (KNO) : Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Coordination Committee (JKCSCC) on Saturday termed the dissolution of State Legislative Assembly as ‘murder of democracy’ while castigating Peoples Democratic Party's claim to form the new government in Jammu and Kashmir 'was a joke with the people of the State.' Muzaffar Shah, a JKCSCC member made these comments while addressing a presser here in Srinagar.According to KNO correspondent, Shah claimed that PDP and Sajad Ghani Lone's PC had not numbers to claim new dispensation in the state. “Lone along with his new entrant Imran Ansari are claiming they are well-wishers of JK people and at the same time are paving way to RSS to enter in the State,” he said, while challenging Lone to make public 'just five names of people who will stand with him'. Shah also criticized the way assembly was dissolved amid reports about the formation of new government was ‘murder of democracy’. “I appeal Dr Farooq Abdullah to also come forward as I believe he is the only person who can do anything over the case in SC on the special identity of the state,” Shah urged. Shah said that on January 10, the case at SC will be heard again and ten applicants have filed the intervention application at SC but “I appeal all the applicants to come together and formulate a joint strategy to fight the evil designs,” he said. He did not mince words to attack Congress and said that the party must make its stand clear on Article 370 and 35A. “They (Congress) fought the elections even after the identity of Jammu and Kashmir was at stake,” he said, adding that what people have to do with the elections when their identity is being snatched.(KNO)
