Srinagar, November 30 (KNO) : Muslim League on Friday strongly condemned the raids on the houses of its leaders Abdul Ahad Parra, Feroz Ahmad Khan, Abdul Hameed Wagay of Amshipora Shopian and 'harassment to their families by men in uniform' and termed it as 'worst demonstration of political vendetta'. According to statement issued to KNO, ML spokesman, Sajad Ayoubi said, "Men in uniform raided the house of Muslim League  leader Feroz Ahmad Khan, who is languishing in jail from many months,  and harassed his family which includes his wife and two children only." On the name of search operation, they  ransacked their household goods, threatened them and also took away their mobile phones, Ayoubi said. He said "in the same way, Army men from Chogam Shopian camp barged into the house of Ab. Hameed Wagay who's son Waseem A Wagay was killed in an encounter at Batagund by forces and misbehaved with them and threatened them of killing and disappearing them." "Feroz Ahmad Khan is already in Karnal Haryana jail and son of Ab Hameed Wagay has been already killed by forces but still these forces are harassing their families and raiding their houses. This clearly depicts the forces hatred and enmity against the oppressed Kashmiris," Ayoubi said.(KNO)
